Simply put, if you have a message to deliver to an audience – donors, prospects,
foundations, governments – we can help you help shape it and articulate it.
To write proposals and appeals requires analysis from two perspectives:
the client's and the reader's. To work, the document must represent the client
well and it must be relevant to the reader. Finding that balance, that alignment,
requires skill and finesse, that's what we bring to the table.
Proposals: Whether you are dusting off a project you started long ago,
or one initiated by someone else, we can work from existing documents and
drafts. And if you are starting something new, we can work from a blank page.
Regardless of the starting point, we apply a methodology that ensures your
goals are clearly communicated and that the funders' objectives are clearly
understood and addressed.
Appeals: What you say and how you say it is critically important when making
an appeal. The rhetorical choices made when messaging an appeal can spell
the difference between an exciting, successful campaign and one that lacks
luster. MANGO has messaged campaigns for organizations large and small across
western Canada since 1999. And now – thanks to the findings of a MANGO-led
study into how arguments are structured in the case for
support – our work is informed by new knowledge about the underlying motivating
factors that support the discourse.
